New England raised, with California in my heart and London in my soul.

I discovered my passion for skincare at 12, when I started getting acne. I had problem skin. I learned to cover it up with concealer early. I had a dermatologist and we tried everything to clear it up. That’s when I began to explore different cleansers, face masks, and moisturizers. At 28, I have finally found more than a few products that work, and a couple hundred that do not.

Clean Beauty is a newer passion, about 3 years and counting. When I discovered how truly unregulated the beauty industry is in the US, I was horrified. Your skin absorbs what you put into it. If we are all so focused on eating organically, why don’t we put the same focus into what we are putting on our bodies. Skincare shouldn’t have plastic in it, and makeup shouldn’t contain crude oils. End of story.

I have focused on finding clean products that work. And while every one’s definition of clean varies, I look to brands like Follain, Credo, and some items from Clean at Sephora and read the ingredients to determine if the product is safe for the environment as well as myself.
